The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo is filled with occult imagery.

I found this very interseting:

This painting titled The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo is filled with occult imagery.

Notice that “God” is surrounded by a brain. This anatomically accurate image of the human brain was poinetd out in 1990 by Frank Lynn Meshberger, M.D. ; something that had been overlooked for centuries. You can see that the edges correlate with sulci in the inner and outer surface of the brain, the brain stem, the basilar artery, the pituitary gland and the optic chiasm are all seen. God’s hand does not touch Adam, yet Adam is already alive as if the spark of life is being transmitted across a synaptic cleft.
Adam is “awakened to life” by a finger coming out of the pituitary glad, through the third eye, and awakening Adam through this synaptic spark.. “God” has his arm around his wife and he has a son. His wife is called by the occult Kabbalists “the Shekinah “. To the Kabbalist, honoring the Feminine is of the utmost importance. In the Kabbalah, the name of this Divine Feminine is the Shekinah. The term is not found in the Bible. It is remarkable that so many Bible teachers use this term that comes straight out of the occult. They are just repeating it because they have heard some other Bible teacher use it.
Creation (the son) is the result of the entanglement of the male and female principles. The Yin-Yang and the Masonic square represent this. Or as they say ” as above, so below”. Again it amazes me when I actually see the Masonic symbol on the very cornerstone of a church. I have seen Masons taking up the offering while wearing the “two ball cane” and you can just imagine what that stands for.
The pastors today are no different, for the most part. It is just a job to them; the way they make a living. I think the Bible calls them hirelings. A pastor is supposed to watch for wolves and feed the sheep. Unfortunately many are just as blind as the rest of the world and instead of feeding the sheep, they are more interested in feeding themselves.
Milton called them “blind mouths”:
Blind mouths! that scarce themselves know how to hold
A sheephook, or have learn’d ought else the least
That to the faithful herdman’s art belongs!
What recks it them? What need they? They are sped.
And when they list their lean and flashy songs
Grate on their scrannel pipes of wretched straw,
The hungry sheep look up, and are not fed,
See my article about the so called Star of David that many Christians have in their homes and on jewelry:

Ezekiel 8:13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

The False Hope of the Rapture

By: Brandon T. Ward

The rapture is a commonly taught doctrine by the churches of today. Some rapturists will argue there will be a Pre, Mid or Post tribulation escape of the church. The question is, can we document any sort of rapture or escape in God’s Word? Let’s start by opening our Bibles to I Thessalonians 4. Typically, verse 17 is pointed to as proof of a rapture. However, we need to identify the subject at hand. In order to accomplish that let’s start with verse 13. Before we start, let’s ask our Father for wisdom and understanding of his Word, in Jesus Name Amen.

I Thessalonians 4:13
13 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."

14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."

The topic at hand is concerning where the dead are. If we believe Christ is risen, so then are the ones who have passed on before us. They are risen with Him(II Corinthians 5:8).

I Thessalonians 4:15
"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep."

We can’t prevent them because they have already passed on and are with Christ. Risen as He has.

I Thessalonians 4:16
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:"

The Trump of God is the last trump, the seventh(Revelation 10:7, "But in the days of the voice of theseventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets”). Jesus will not return to earth or the Mount of Olives until that time. At the sixth trump, Satan will be kicked out of heaven and onto this earth playing his roll as Jesus Christ. This is why we must study to show ourselves approved.

I Thessalonians 4:17
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Now we have a clear picture. We that are alive at Christ’s return, at the seventh trump will meet with Him and those who have passed on before us. The word“air” (Strong’s Word: 109) here means to “breathe”. This is the breath, the breath of life, just as God breathed it into Adam (Genesis 2:7). At the last trump, the seventh which is Christ’s return we will be changed into our spiritual bodies, in the twinkling of an eye, just as Paul foretold us in I Corinthians 15:51-56. (If you are not in a spiritual body, then Jesus hasn’t returned!)

Now let's take a look at the word "cloud" used here.

Hebrews 12:1
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”

Paul used the word “cloud” here as well. Why? It’s a figure of speech, there were so many witnesses gathered together that it was like a cloud. Just like Paul would describe in I Thessalonians 4:17, when Jesus returns with those who have passed on before us. It’s simply describing a multitude of people.

We are not flying away somewhere. Remember, Jesus is returning to the Mount of Olives. He will set his feet down there upon his return (Zechariah 1:1-4,Acts 1:11-12). If you continue reading the next chapter(I Thessalonians. 5:1-6) Paul tells us to stay awake, be sober and watch. Had a rapture been a part of God's plan we wouldn't be reminded of this.

Now let’s take a look at Paul’s second letter to the Thessalonians.

II Thessalonians 2:1
"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,"

The topic here is the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we gather back together with Him.

II Thessalonians 2:2
"That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand."

Paul wrote this second letter to the Thessalonians as the first caused some confusion concerning our gathering back to the Lord.

II Thessalonians 2:3
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"

What day shall not come? The Day of the Lord, our gathering back unto Him. What “falling away?” The“falling away” from God’s Word. “Falling away” is Strong’s word 646 which means “defection from truth”. We see that becoming more prevalent day by day. Who is the man of sin, the son of perdition? It’s none other than Satan himself. He is the only one that has been condemned to death by name (Revelation 20:10,Ezekiel 28:18-19).

This is saying very clearly that the Day of the Lord, His return, will NOT happen until Satan who plays the role of the false messiah, who pretends to be Jesus Christ has been revealed. This makes it utterly impossible for there to be a rapture.

II Thessalonians 2:4
"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

The "son of perdition", Satan, is going to put on the best acting job you ever witnessed. He will claim to be our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is why Christ would tell us, 'if they say I am here or there believe it not', this is why he warned us of false Christs.

II Thessalonians 2:5
5 "Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"

6 "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time."

Who will be revealed? Satan, who will set himself up as, and claim to be Jesus Christ.

II Thessalonians 2:7
"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."

Who is he that letteth? It is Michael the archangel. Until who be taken out of the way? The subject is still Satan. Michael is holding Satan in heaven until it’s time for Michael to cast him and HIS ANGELS out (Revelation 12:7-9), then Satan will be here on earth claiming to be Christ.

II Thessalonians 2:8
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"

What wicked? Satan, who will appear first at the sixth trump, claiming to be Jesus Christ as verse four states. Then our Lord will return at the seventh trump to destroy him. Remember, there are a total of seven trumps and they are all in order. Follow the sequence.

II Thessalonians 2:9
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,"

Once again, Jesus coming is after the workings of Satan, not before. What power and signs is verse nine referring to? Satan will “doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men” (Revelation 13:13). He does this right in the sight of men! This is very deceptive is it not?

Jesus is returning to the Mount of Olives(Zechariah 1:1-4, Acts 1:11-12) and he is bringing many of those who passed on before us with him. Once again this leaves absolutely no room for a rapture my friends. Quite the contrary, our job is going to be to prophesy against the false messiah, Satan(Luke 21:12-18).

Matthew 24:29
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"

After the tribulation of those days, which are the days of Anti-Christ. The days when Satan will play his role as Jesus Christ, that is the tribulation. Christ will not return until after the false messiah (Satan) is kicked out of heaven and is upon this earth. As we have learned inII Thessalonians 2:2-4.

Matthew 24:30
"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the cloudsof heaven with power and great glory."

Notice the word "clouds" again? Just as Hebrews 12:1uses it with reference to people. This event happensAFTER the tribulation of Anti-Christ who is Satan not before.

Next we are going to turn our bibles to the book of Revelation. Many are never taught this book. They are told it’s not important. I beg to differ, more importantly God does. The very word Revelation means, “Be Revealed”, “to take off the cover”. Let’s do that.

Revelation 22:18
18 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:"

19 "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

If this book wasn’t important, this warning would not have been given. It’s extremely important, as is all of the Word of God. Another commonly taught scripture that there will be a rapture can be found inRevelation 4:1.

Let’s turn there.

Revelation 4:1
"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."

It’s taught that the voice in heaven is speaking to the church and they will be removed from the earth during the tribulation. Was the voice talking to the church? Absolutely not! The voice from heaven was talking to John (Revelation 1:1). John was then shown the future… God is NOT bringing the church to heaven, God is coming here. Wherever God is, heaven is also.

Revelation 7:1
"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree."

These winds signal the start of the trumps. We know trump one harms the earth and trees. Trump two harms the sea.

Revelation 7:2
2 "And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,"

3 "Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."

The four angels holding the winds back were told by another angel with a loud voice NOT to release the four winds which start the trumps until the servants of God have been sealed (the seven seals of Revelation 6 and8)! It’s so important they be sealed the trumps can’t start until this sealing is completed. Why is there such emphasis of this sealing if a rapture were true? If there was a rapture we wouldn’t need to be sealed with God’s Truth.

Revelation 7:9
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"

We are at the Lord’s Day here. The tribulation has now passed.

Revelation 7:10
10 "And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."

11 "And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,"

12 "Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen."

13 "And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?"

The Elder says to John who are these in white robes standing around God’s throne?

Revelation 7:14
14 "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

15 "Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them."

These are the very saints who stood against Satan and came out of the great tribulation. They are rewarded by serving at the very throne of God. For them to have came out of the great tribulation, they had to go through it.

Jesus said himself in John 17:15, “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”

We have many examples of that, God protecting his own. The stories of Noah and the ark, Daniel in the lions den, Jonah in the whales belly, the three in the fiery furnace. God always takes care of his own, those who truly love him will be safe, those who stick to His Word and stand against the false messiah.

In conclusion, I would encourage you to read all of the bible verses listed and mentioned in this study. This is an extremely important topic, one your soul may very well hang in the balance of... Why do the people wish for rocks to fall on them when the Lord returns? They have been worshipping Satan who they thought was Jesus Christ! What an awful day that will be for those who truly love Christ, but were neither taught, nor took the time to educate themselves with what His Word actually says…

Matthew 24:9

Good morning this fine Saturday morn. May the Lord bless us with enough this day. "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

I had a brief conversation with one of my fb friends yesterday about our powers over the Devil. I am contented that we have none, and there is nothing that we can do to either control him or put fear into him. He is in revolt against God Almighty Himself, and if he is not afraid of God what can any of us do to put fear into him?

This is what Jesus said to us in Matthew 24:9, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." Our faith in Jesus will not save us from persecution, rather it will cause it.

The two women created by God: Eve and Lilith

"Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."] Genesis 1

And then in Genesis 2:
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.  And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

So which is it, did God make them both at the same time, male and female?  Or did he make Adam and then had pity on him being alone?  Some believe that there is a third answer and that God did it both ways at two different times.  Meaning that there were two women who were created by God, the first one created alongside and with Adam in one act of creation as described in Genesis 1.  That woman and Adam had a falling out and left Adam along in Eden going out into the world by herself, and that is when God felt sorry that Adam was along and made his another woman from his rib.

According to midrashic literature, Adam's first wife was not Eve but a woman named Lilith, “At the same time Jehovah created Adam, he created a woman, Lilith, who like Adam was taken from the earth. She was given to Adam as his wife. But there was a dispute between them about a matter that when it came before the judges had to be discussed behind closed doors. She spoke the unspeakable name of Jehovah and vanished.”

It seems that the big different between Adam and Lilith was how to fuck, they both wanted to be on top.  “Adam, as a way of asserting his authority over Lilith, insisted that she lie beneath him during sexual intercourse (23 A-B). Lilith, however, considering herself to be Adam's equal, refused, and after pronouncing the Ineffable Name (i.e. the magic name of God) flew off into the air.”

Adam pissed off both because he had no one to fuck and that she would not bow to his will ask God to intervene, so God sent three angels, named Senoy, Sansenoy, and Semangelof, who found her in the Red Sea.  They threaten Lilith that one hundred of her sons would die every day, she refused to return to Adam, musta been a whole lot of fucking going on before she got pissed off enough to leave.  Well she refused to go back to him making some sort of deal with the angles, and God made Adam a new woman from his own rib so he could be the dominant one and have sex missionary style.

“Lilith also personified licentiousness and lust. In the Christian Middle Ages she, or her female offspring, the lilim, became identified with succubae (the female counterparts of incubi) who would copulate with men in their sleep, causing them to have nocturnal emissions or "wet dreams."”  Through the literature of the Kabbalah, Lilith became fixed in Jewish demonology where her primary role is that of strangler of children and a seducer of men. The Kabbalah further enhanced her demonic character by making her the partner of Samael (i.e. Satan) and queen of the realm of the forces of evil.”

Through her couplings with the devil (or with Adam, as his succubus), Lilith gave birth to one hundred demonic children a day (the one hundred children threatened with death by the three angels). In this way, Lilith was held responsible for populating the world with evil. If you ask how Lilith herself, the first wife of Adam, became evil, the answer lies in her insubordination to her husband Adam. It is her independence from Adam, her position beyond the control of a male, that makes her "evil."

“Lilith is referred to only once in the Old Testament. In the Darby translation of Isaiah 34:14 the original Hebrew word is rendered as "lilith"; according to Isaiah, when God's vengeance has turned the land into a wilderness, "there shall the beasts of the desert meet with the jackals, and the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; the lilith also shall settle there, and find for herself a place of rest." The same word is translated elsewhere, however, as "screech owl, "night creatures," "night monsters," and "night hag."

Now I do not know the truth of any of this, but it does explain the two different stories regarding the creation of Adam and Eve in Genesis 1 & 2.

Everything is quotation comes from Christopher L.C.E. Witcomb writings, and a like to his page is in the first comment below.

The Cure for Bereavement

To say, “Time heals all wounds” Is trite
When the heart is in its anguish,
                   But there is no
          Cure for the bereavement
                       But time.

               The Death lies quiet,

               But the living greave
                  The dissolution
           Of what could have been.
                   Why, oh why
           They ask again and again.

             A question with no answer,

                    The loss remains.
                   And, unexplained,
                     Life will go on.
                 Hard though it may be
                    For the bereaved.

                       Until time

                 Has came and gone.
                Time to, if not heal,
                   At least adjust
                 To a life without,
And time to find a new meaning.

                     Not to forget,

For that is not in the cards,
               But to remember the joy
                  Without it being
             Drowned by the sadness
                   Of the passing.

             A quietus will be found,

            Not today, not tomorrow,
               But a time will come
                 And bring with it
               The strength needed
To pick up the pieces and move on.

Pride vr Hubris

Today I want to talk about pride.  Not the pride of your hometown or your child’s success, but the pride that precedes the fall or as Proverbs 16:18 puts it, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”  How does this pride differ from be pride of what you have been able to achieve in life, or of a job well done?

The pride that comes before the fall means that you have becomes over confident and stops thinking sensibly or critically because of what you think you know or the abilities you have.  This is the source of the adage, “A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing”.

A little learning is a dangerous thing;
drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring:
there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
and drinking largely sobers us again.
Alexander Pope (1688 - 1744)

When success goes to one's head and which is a sure indication of the fact that that person is bound to suffer or face disappointment because of the wrong decisions that he or she might make.

How does this adage and the Proverb ties together and become profitable for us as instructions?  Well remember what Reagan said, “Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.”  When you go to criticize another’s views make sure that you understand the subject you are spouting off about.  To be so completely convinced that you have the correct view when in fact all you have is a small understanding is a manifestation of the pride that precedes the fall.

This pride can sneak into our minds in any number of ways, on how best to train a horse to how best to interpret the scriptures.  While this pride can bring us to embarrassment at its mildest form of rebuke to death and destruction at its harshest, it does not rise to hubris unless you refuse to learn from the instruction that holding this type of pride provides.

“And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”  Hebrews 12:5-6

Now as far as interpreting scriptures I take the Baptist approach that no one stand between man and god.  No preacher, no elder, or deacon, but through faith, interacting with others, through listening, conversations, reading and reflection. One should also engage not only those who share their worldview but others who are quite different from you. You will find that sometimes your conversations will help another person, but more often I have found that by talking with others I have come to a better understanding of the scriptures.

I will not tell another person this is the way you should understand the Bible, I will tell how I understand it.  I believe that God is a God of revelation, if He does not reveal Himself to you you cannot find Him.

“And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;   (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)  It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.  As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.   What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.  For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.  For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.  Romans” 9: 10-17
