I consider the government of the U S. as interdicted by the Constitution from intermeddling with religious institutions, their doctrines, discipline, or exercises. This results not only from the provision that no law shall be made respecting the establishment, or free exercise, of religion, but from that also which reserves to the states the powers not delegated to the U.S. Certainly no power to prescribe any religious exercise, or to assume authority in religious discipline, has been delegated to the general government. It must then rest with the states, as far as it can be in any human authority.
But it is only proposed that I should recommend, not prescribe a day of fasting & prayer. That is, that I should indirectly assume to the U.S. an authority over religious exercises which the Constitution has directly precluded them from. It must be meant too that this recommendation is to carry some authority, and to be sanctioned by some penalty on those who disregard it; not indeed of fine and imprisonment, but of some degree of proscription perhaps in public opinion.
And does the change in the nature of the penalty make the recommendation the less a law of conduct for those to whom it is directed? I do not believe it is for the interest of religion to invite the civil magistrate to direct it’s exercises, it’s discipline, or it’s doctrines; nor of the religious societies that the general government should be invested with the power of effecting any uniformity of time or matter among them. Fasting & prayer are religious exercises. The enjoining them an act of discipline. Every religious society has a right to determine for itself the times for these exercises, & the objects proper for them, according to their own particular tenets; and this right can never be safer than in their own hands, where the constitution has deposited it.
I am aware that the practice of my predecessors may be quoted. But I have ever believed that the example of state executives led to the assumption of that authority by the general government, without due examination, which would have discovered that what might be a right in a state government, was a violation of that right when assumed by another. Be this as it may, every one must act according to the dictates of his own reason, & mine tells me that civil powers alone have been given to the President of the U S. and no authority to direct the religious exercises of his constituents.

Now take perception, for
example the other night, I spent the night in a hotel in Concord after the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. When I went to bed I turned on the TV and "How I Met Your
Mother" was on. I have never watched it before as it is just not the type
of programming I care for, but before I switched the channel I watched a scene
where this young man and young lady were sitting watching a movie. The man
explained to the woman how he saw the main character in the movie, and then she
explained how she saw the same character.
The pertinent part is what the man
said after the woman finished when her thoughts, "It is obvious that we
are watching two entirely different movies." The point being that we all
see the world through our experiences and perceptions, thus no two people can
perceive anything in the same way. Because of where the young man sat as a
young man he could not see the movie as the young woman did nor could the young
womansee the movie as a young man would.
Now substitute in white, black,
youth, aged, or whatever you might wish in the plavce of theyoung man and young woman and you can see the problem we have
when we start trying to truly understand the human condition. You tell your
part, I tell my part, and together someone may understand a part that neither
of us did if we tell of our understanding.
I just read the other day, 7/6/13,“According to leading scientist Jack O’Malley-James, life on Earth will perish in more than a billion years when a warming sun boils oceans and forces out CO2, damning plants and subsequently animals. Most life will have died by the planet reaches 70s (or 6.5 billion-years-old), he says, with any microorganisms confined to pools of residual water. “The far-future Earth will be very hostile to life,” Mr O’Malley-James said. “It will be restricted to pockets of liquid water, perhaps at cooler higher altitudes or in caves.”
What do you think scientist base such a belief on? I’ll tell you, it is faith in their theories that give them the confidence, and who made the theories? Other scientists that is who, so in effect they are basing their faith on men, well some men anyway. In this case I reckon that it is on Hubble and Einstein.
Hubble is the one who comes up the Red Shift Theory that explained the reason, in his opinion, that some stars seem redder than others. Einstein is the one who proclaimed that the speed of light is content never changing in a vacuum. Now Hubble used the speed of light to calculate the size of the universe giving that it all came into existence at once by being blown apart with the Big bang. That’s right everything blew apart from nothing, or blew in from nothing, or blew away from nothing, in any case in one instant there was nothing and in the next everything, and everything was running away from everything else giving the expanding universe. The stare, posited Hubble, with more red in their light were accelerating away from us faster than the stars with less red it the light that is collected by our telescopes. He based his theory on the belief that light would behave in the same manner as sound on what is called the Doppler effect.
With sound the Doppler effect is easily detected by the ear by the change in pitch as the source of the sound come to you, passes you, and recedes from you. With light from the stars it is assumed, it cannot be proven by any experiment devisable by man, to do so would require getting a light source, not the light itself, and observe it coming towards you, pass you, and leave you as you observed the change in the frequency of the light emitted by the source. Well yes we can get particles moving at very near the speed of light in our colliders, but the only thing that can be observed is the result of the collision of these particles into other particles, and in no way prove the existence of a Red Shift in light like one can demonstrate a Doppler effect in sound waves. So any calculations arrived at by using the Red Shif of light had to be taken on faith. Now I am not saying that there is no such thing as a 'Red Shift' in light when it is traveling away from an observe's, after all this is how Doppler radar, as it bounces off of an object when it come back to its source, the radar's antenna, the radio frequency of the signal has either increased or decreased depending upon whether or the object it bounced off of was going away or coming closer. The frequency will increase, or shift towards the blue, if coming, and decrease, shift towards the red, of going away from you.

The motion of astronomical objects due solely to this expansion is known as the Hubble flow." Wikipedia This is where no experiment can be devised to test the theory, there exists other explanations that can explain why we observe a red shift in the lights coming from the stars other than it is a result of them going away from us. If you heard
a train whistle from a train moving towards you for the first time in your
life, you might think that's how they always sound. So, when astronomers look
at stars' spectrums, how do they know if it's really red (or blue) shifted? To
To recognize such a shift, wouldn't one have to know what the baseline spectrum
looks like? But, how could one know that? It is assumed that the light started on its journey at a given frequency, and then because the star is moving away its light shifted to the red, i.e., the light wave got longer. This assumption cannot be tested.
It is this reliance upon Hubble's Law that the scientist have determined the age and size of the universe. By measurements of the cosmic background radiation (that is what, among other things, all those large radio telescope that look like large satellite antennas do) give the cooling time of the universe since the Big Bang, and measurements of the expansion rate of the universe can be used to calculate its approximate age by extrapolating backwards in time. Now to come to the age they have concluded, 13.798 ± 0.037 billion years, they have to assume, e.g., take on faith, that the Big Bang actually happened, and there is such a thing as a Doppler effect in light coming from the stars caused by their receding from us.
So how can Jack O’Malley-James claims that the earth has reached middle age? Well he says that the Earth is 4.54 billion-years-old, well that too is assumed as there are no dating techniques in existence that can date the earth with any precision. What they do is look around the universe, remember in their world when you look into space you look back in time as well, if the light took a million light years to get here, determined by the Red Shift of its light, then they are looking a million years into the past. It takes the light from the sun about 8 minuted to get to earth, so whenever you look at the sun you are looking 8 minuted into the past. Well they look out and see stares in different conditions, and gave them names like Red Giants, white dwarf, neutron star, Brown Dwarf, and Nova. Now another assumption is made and again based upon the Red Shift theory, and that these are different stages that a star goes through from birth to death.
It is with this assumption that Mr O’Malley-James, et al., predicts the death of earth by projecting onto the sun the concept of a star that must follow the same pattern as they have stitched together by observing stars in different parts of the universe, assigning age to the stars using the Red Shift.
I also believe that the universe sprang into existence in an instance when God said, "let there be light". But unlike O’Malley-James I believe that the earth is much nearer its end, and it will be done away with and replace with a New Earth and a New Jerluslaham. Both of our convictions are based upon faith his no less than mine.

The following link gives a better prestation of all the sounds,
rumblings, earthquakes, sunk holes, and cars, people and houses being swallowed
alive. Something is happening. What is going on. The sink holes are everywhere.
And raises the question, are sink holes swallowing the world? Sinkholes and loud booms are being
documented everywhere. Nobody really knows why the sink holes and earthquakes
are happening.
Since my article stating that Ezekiel’s Temple was not intended to be a Temple for the Millennium but a Temple the Jews should have built when they returned from Babylon, many have asked about the temple the Antichrist will desolate in the Tribulation. The Tribulation Temple will probably be modeled after Solomon’s Temple, not Ezekiel’s Temple.
GOD GAVE NO COMMANDS FOR A THIRD TEMPLE
God gave commands for the first two temples but there is no command for a third temple. Any plans for a third temple will be the result of fallen man in rebellion against God. We are plainly told in the Book of Hebrews that animal sacrifices and temple worship have been permanently abolished because Christ’s sacrifice had accomplished what they could not. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’ …He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10: 4-9 NIV
According to the Book of Hebrews, anyone returning to the temple sacrifices would be crucifying Christ all over again, trampling his shed blood under foot, and insulting the Holy Spirit.
For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, (returned to the Temple sacrifices) to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. 6: 4-6 ESV

The Temple in Rev. 11 cannot be referring to any Tribulation Temple because at the very same time the Antichrist is placing his image in the Tribulation Temple resulting in its desolation we have this true Temple with no defiled Holy Place, true worshipers, and a true alter.
